This Moist Orange Cranberry Bread recipe is perfect for fall. It’s so easy to make using fresh orange juice and cranberries, and is great for a snack or breakfast.


  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 egg

  1. Grease a 8×4 loaf pan. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. In a large bowl, add white whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cranberries, and orange zest. Gently stir.
  4. In a medium bowl, add coconut oil, fresh orange juice, and an egg.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
  6. Stir to combine everything together.
  7. Scrap the batter into prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  9. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes. Serve

Moist Orange Cranberry Bread

Fall has finally hit Texas!!! Well, at least for a week! But I’ll take what I can get.

This past weekend we had a “Lumber Jack” party for my nephew who turned one and when I woke up it was 65 degrees outside! (insert big wow face emoji)

I got to wear jeans and a flannel shirt. It was glorious! After the party we headed back to the house and stopped at a fall festival at one of the churches in our area. Cason got to go to a petting zoo, play in the jump houses, and then we went through the huge pumpkin patch to take photos.

A MUST this time of year.

Kids and Pumpkin photos are just too cute to resist! So I didn’t. I snapped away as he was running around picking up pumpkins (and dropping them … shhh) and weaving in and out of the aisles. It was amazing … LOVE me some family time!!

This Orange Cranberry Bread Recipe Is Perfect For Fall

By the end of the day, mommy, daddy, and Cason were all exhausted! But definitely a good exhausted.

Since it felt like a glorious fall weekend I needed to make something that made the house smell like fall.

And this Cranberry Orange Bread did just the trick! I am kinda obsessed with this combination in the fall. Well, this .. and anything with Pumpkin or Apples. Yummy! I think those have to be staple flavors in the fall. Don’t you!?

Fresh Ingredients Keep This Orange Cranberry Bread Moist

This bread recipe was slightly tweaked from my Cranberry Orange Muffins, that went crazy on Pinterest a couple years ago! So I know it’s a goodie! We make it almost every fall, and it’s gone in like a day!

This Orange Cranberry Bread is crusty on the outside and super moist on the inside! If you don’t have coconut oil you can easily substitute it for canola oil. But the fresh orange juice is a must! It adds sweetness to the bread and adds to the moistness! Also be sure to use fresh cranberries or frozen … NOT dried!

We’ve been known to have this for breakfast, a mid-day snack or even dessert!
